Day-by-Day Itinerary

8:00 AM: Hotel pickup in Arusha or Moshi. Scenic drive through rural Maasai and Chagga villages, past sisal plantations and open savannah (approx. 1.5 hrs). 9:30 AM: Arrive at Chemka (Kikuletwa) Hot Springs - a surreal turquoise oasis hidden in the bush, with crystal-clear pools fed by underground volcanic springs. 10:00 AM: Swimming session in the main pool, cool snorkeling to see the underwater rock formations and little fish nibbling toes. 11:30 AM: Rope-swing into the deeper pool from the giant fig tree - a local tradition! 12:30 PM: Picnic lunch served on wooden tables beneath the tree canopy, with fresh fruit and local juices. 2:00 PM: More swimming, a floating nap on an inner tube or a short walk along the spring's wooded banks. 3:30 PM: Dry off and depart. Return to your hotel by approximately 5:00 PM, sun-kissed and refreshed.
