Day-by-Day Itinerary

Morning pickup from Arusha and drive southwest to Tarangire National Park (approx. 3 hours). Afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River - elephant herds, lion prides and the park's ancient baobabs. Check in to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning game drive in Tarangire, then drive west to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2 hours). Afternoon game drive in the lush groundwater forest - tree-climbing lions, baboon troops, hippos and elephant. Overnight at a lodge on the Rift Valley escarpment.

Drive up through the Ngorongoro Highlands with a stop at the crater viewpoint, then onto the rolling Serengeti grasslands. Enter via Naabi Hill Gate and begin game viewing as you make your way to your central Serengeti camp by late afternoon. Dinner under the stars.

Dawn departure with packed breakfast. Explore the Seronera River valley - leopard country - and the open plains. Picnic lunch in the bush. Afternoon drive into the late golden hour. Return to camp for dinner.

Continue exploring the Serengeti depending on the migration season. Optional sunrise hot-air balloon flight (extra cost). Two full game drives with a midday rest at camp. Sunset drinks at the campfire.

Final morning game drive with packed breakfast. Drive back via the Ngorongoro highlands and the Rift Valley to Arusha (approx. 7-8 hours total). Or upgrade to a scenic bush flight from Seronera airstrip (extra cost). Drop-off at hotel or airport by evening.

Yes, all park entry fees, conservation fees and crater fees are included in the package price.

Yes. Most travellers (US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia) can apply for a Tanzania e-visa online (~$50) before travel, or get a visa on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Allow 7-10 days for e-visa processing.

A Yellow Fever certificate is required only if you are arriving from a yellow-fever country. Recommended (consult your doctor): Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Tetanus, and antimalarial prophylaxis.
